Job Title: QA Analyst

Location: Solana Beach, CA (In-Office)

Salary Range: $80,000 – $90,000

We are looking for a meticulous and proactive QA Analyst to be our first quality assurance hire. This is a high-impact, entry-to-mid-level role where you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and quality of our core products. Your primary focus will be on manual and exploratory testing, but you will also have the opportunity to define and build our entire QA process from the ground up. Key Responsibilities

• Test Design & Execution: Define and execute comprehensive manual test cases and test plans for new features and bug fixes.
• Testing Coverage: Perform thorough regression, exploratory, and user acceptance testing across our web applications.
• Defect Tracking: Identify, document, and track software bugs and defects with clear, concise, and actionable reports.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the Senior Software Engineer and Salesforce Product Manager to understand requirements and validate functionality.
• QA Advocacy: Be the champion for quality within the company, helping to build a culture of quality assurance.
• Stakeholder Alignment: Work with business stakeholders to ensure the final product meets their needs and expectations.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1–3 years of experience in a Quality Assurance role.
• QA Fundamentals: A strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Mindset: Exceptional attention to detail and a methodical, logical approach to problem-solving.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Tools: Experience with Jira and Salesforce.
• Ownership: A proactive and self-motivated attitude, with the ability to own the QA process.

Bonus Skills

• Experience with automated testing frameworks or basic scripting knowledge.
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
