Job Summary
We are looking for a qualified, motivated individual to join our insurance company as a Commercial Lines Account Manager. As part of our team, you with work with commercial and business clients to determine their insurance needs. Whether it's a small business with modest needs or a national organization with major assets, we work to provide the best possible coverage at the lowest possible cost. This is a relationship-focused position, meaning that our ideal candidate must have superb communication and interpersonal skills, in addition to valid state licensure and a minimum of three years of experience in the insurance industry.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Help clients understand and determine their individual commercial line service needs
- Oversee and manage client business, including policy changes, applications, and claims
- Ensure maximum client retention and generation through relationship building
- Market new service offerings
Requirements and Qualifications
- Three years experience in the insurance industry, especially within commercial insurance or property & casualty insurance
- Account management experience (preferred)
- Valid state Property and Casualty License
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, Powerpoint, and Excel, as well as standard invoicing software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
